Melissa Meagher Joins Park Assist as Accounts Payable
We are pleased to announce that Melissa Meagher has joined Park Assist in the accounts payable position based out of Cheshire, CT. In her new role, Melissa will work closely with all personnel and outside suppliers to perform daily accounts payable functions. She will be responsible for invoice approval and processing, maintenance of vendor records, tax filing, and generating reports as well as a variety of other projects.
With over 10 years of experience, Melissa is an extremely organized and motivated professional who prides herself in maintaining positivity, even under pressure. Prior to Park Assist, she worked at Carmody Torrance Sandak & Hennessey LLP in accounts payable for seven years. She was responsible for entering and monitoring all invoices, assisting with reporting and budgeting, handling confidential information, processing expenses, and maintaining vendor files.
Throughout her tenure at Carmody, Melissa grew to excel in fast-paced environments by honing her keen eye for detail and exceptional problem-solving abilities. Her eagerness and aptitude for prioritizing and executing tasks efficiently has been an asset throughout her career and will be a vital attribute here at Park Assist.
Melissa attended Naugatuck Valley Community College where she earned her associate degree in fine arts with a certificate in dance. As a mom of three little girls, Melissa is usually racing around. But, when she’s not working or running her daughters to and from activities, she continues to embrace her passion for dance by teaching dance fitness classes.
