Poorvi Kaushik joins Park Assist as Data Scientist

Poorvi Kaushik joins Park Assist’s engineering team in New York City as a Data Scientist. Poorvi received her doctorate in Computational Biology from Cornell University. As a post-doctoral scientist at the Sloan Kettering Institute, she used a combination of experimentation and statistical modeling to discover effective drug combinations to fight brain cancer. She also has a Chemical Engineering degree in Bioinformatics from Manipal Institute of Technology in India. 

Outside of work, Poorvi enjoys dark chocolate and Hindustani classical music. She is also a volunteer for the Caldwell Temple Soup Kitchen, assisting in their wellness checkups and food service.
