Bond Street Chelmsford Chooses Park Assist’s M4 Smart-Sensor System for New Underground Car Park

Posted in News

Bond Street, a £150 million retail and leisure development located in the city center of Chelmsford in Essex County, United Kingdom has selected Park Assist to install its M4 camera based parking guidance system (PGS). Park Assist’s M4 PGS is equipped with smart-sensors that enable parkers and operators to enjoy an elevated parking experience as well as run a more efficient facility. The M4 system will be deployed in the new 288-space underground car park at Bond Street.

Bond Street provides Chelmsford with a vibrant new shopping environment that caters to the city’s thriving, affluent customers. Park Assist’s M4 system was selected due to its ability to provide shoppers with a stress-free parking experience and because its technology and design were compatible with the contemporary vision of the developers.

The M4 smart-sensor system uses license plate recognition technology, colored sensors and directional signage to guide drivers to the nearest available space. Wayfinding signage with real-time parking availability is displayed at the entrance of the garage and throughout the facility to ensure parking availability is clearly communicated to visitors.

“We are thrilled to provide our innovative, state-of-the-art parking guidance technology to the Bond Street project. It is an honor to be a part of such a forward-thinking project that distinguishes Bond Street as a premier shopping facility,” said Gary Neff, CEO of Park Assist.
