Sensor
The sensor and signal unit in the M3 System is a major part of what sets the Park Assist solution apart. Arrayed through a car park above the driving lanes, it is the eyes that monitor the parking spaces, and part of the brains of the overall system.
Key features:
- High resolution digital cameras enable more accurate vehicle detection and license plate recognition
- LEDs in the signal can be set to a wide spectrum of colors
- Firmware for cameras and computer can be upgraded remotely, saving time on upgrades
- Uses Ethernet and IP Network protocols for easier installation and to support data transmission volumes
- IP54-rated to protect against water and dust
- Energy efficient power usage (1 watt per unit)
Signage
An integral part of a parking guidance system relies on the signs situated around the site, displaying the count of available parking in each area. The central on-site server feeds data to the signs using standard communications protocols.
